Keeping with new desire for bad reports, I'm sorry to give one here.
The main reason to go, as far as I'm concerned, is that there are some interesting wines on the list, which is rather solid overall from top to bottom. But I did want some good seafood to go with it and it has plenty of CH recommendations.
First problem was the server, although in the course of the evening, it became evident that his abundant problems (e.g., constantly hovering over me to take away my dish, even bringing utensils for the next course, long before I was finished; and not knowing the wine that I ordered [and my French accent is not bad]) was mostly tied to him and not to the rest of the waitstaff.
More problematic were the rubbery octopus (poulpe) and the dry cod (cabillaud). This place is on probation, as far as I'm concerned -- one more try and if it repeats tonight, it's curtains.
