La Buona Tavola, Pike's Market

Leper | Jul 9, 200506:39 PM

I'm embarrassed that I just discovered La Buona Tavola at Pike's Market. (They've been open two years and somehow I've missed them in my food hunts.) Their speciality is importing truffle products (at good prices) and rare Italian wines that are not exported to the states through general distribution. The quality of the wines are amazing for the price. I would compare their $18.00 wines favorably with wine costing $50.00 or more. They are that good. Also found some fantastic wild mushroom oil for $17.00 a bottle. Another Seattle gem to add to your list with Salumi and Big John's PFI.
