went to la buca for a v-day dinner. had the insalada tenerezza - endive, radicchio and arugula with fresh mozzarella on top. pretty good - albeit the dressing was a little flavorless. good antipasti and enough to share for two.
gurlfrend had the trenette della dolcezza, and substituted the trenette with penne. light sauce, crumbled salmon - very light - pasta was al dente.
i had the ravioli with mushroom sauce. earthy sauce, light on creme - ravioli tender and the cheese was not overdone.
great service - friendly and accomodating. space is really small. the lighting was a bit bright for dinner but they had some nice posters of sophia loren on the wall - meeeeeeyow!
