I was the birthday girl in question and feel exactly the same as my dinner partners who gave accurate accountings of our atrocious meal there last night (3/5).

The host and alleged part owner was extremely rude & unprofessional - at least there was some sense of customer satisfaction with our server who graciously negotiated our wine being opened (with a corkage fee) as a courtesy during the transition period when the ink on their liquor license was still drying.

Too bad (or should I say tant pis) for this establishment -- we had enjoyed several nice meals there since the reopening and were anticipating the same. We have all vowed never to set foot in the restaurant again - there are plenty of great restaurants in Brooklyn now and we'll continue patronizing businesses who treat both their customers and their food with care.

One suggestion -- make that host a silent partner.
