After months of trying to get this going, it appears that Mr. La Barbera will offer hand crafted frozen take-and-bake pizza for delivery in October to test the market response. I have had several of these pizzas and they are identical to the original. La Barbera is going to donate the net proceeds from the sale of these pizzas to the Heart Foundation at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, to support the research of Dr. PK Shah. This is not a Cedars sanctioned event. There will be more details to follow but a website will be set up to take orders and I am told they will be filled within 7 days of receipt. As for me, my only interest is to bring the experience back to those who want it, help La Barbera with exposure in appreciation for being allowed access to these remarkable pies and raise some money for my favorite charity. I hope many of you will be excited and participate!

PS: There will probably only be four types of pie offered so it would be interesting to see requests on this site. Obviously, sausage is the classic.
