La bamboche : My report

Lamaranthe | Dec 5, 2005 02:35 PM

Ex-cel-lent... Their croissants might not have the usual shape but ...Oh la la... they are divine. $18 a dozen. When was the last time my kids and I had such good viennoiseries? We don't even remember. Their pains au chocolat are even better. Today, we did not have any room left for the madeleines, but I'll let you know what we think of them too.
The owner of La bamboche is very professional and friendly. La bamboche is normally closed on Mondays, but they will be open for the whole month of December this year.
BTW, they make decorative gifts sets. They also make flowers and cookies arrangements on order.
This is the place for fine pastry lovers. There sell so many other things we want to try, in particular their Bûches de Noël. We chose to ignore love handles and other debilitating thoughts.
Two more to go: La cigogne and Célestin.
