Hi guys. New to L.A. from NYC. Celebrating an anniversary in November. Looking for a nice restaurant to go to. If prix fixe or tasting menu, would prefer to keep it under $200/pp (wine NOT included).

As far as cuisine? No preference. We like all types of food. Have had amazing meals at Michelin starred places all over, and wonderful meals at quaint while in the walls as well.

For this meal, we would prefer a location that is big on meal presentation and attention to detail. If caviar is offered as an appetizer option, that’s a huge plus.

Please give me the low down. West LA or Santa Monica, Brentwood, etc are preferred over DTLA, but the place is more important than the location.

Thanks!
