My great aunt, who was from Russia, used to make a dessert that she called kushnikas that I can't find anywhere. It was kind of like a rice turnover. It had a cookie dough exterior and inside was rice that was sweet. Possibly it was made with butter and sugar. Does anyone know anything about this and what the exact recipe is?
