I know kung pao chicken is supposed to have peanuts, chilis, and not much else. But my favorite variations of the dish have lots of garlic and some kind of vegetable. Carrots, onions, and celery are particular favorites. I also love Korean-Chinese versions, which use softer veggies like zucchini. Anyone know of a place, preferably on the west side, that does a tasty kung pao with something more than the standard peanuts and chilis?
