Kula Revolving Sushi Bar, Cupertino - review w/ PICS

hhc | Mar 14, 201601:37 AM

I tried out Kula Revolving Sushi Bar on a Wed after work, getting there around 5:15pm. The place is Popular so there was a lot of people waiting outside for a table. The place is NOT in the Valco Shopping Mall, it's across the street where the new Condo's are, you can see the JC Penny's Parking Garage sign too.

Since I was a solo diner I only had to wait about 5 minutes. Make sure everyone in your party is there because they won't seat you otherwise.

I sat at the bar and had to wait for the waitress to come by to tell me how it works. You can get the food from the revolving sushi by lifting up a plastic thing and grabbing the food. If you don't see it, you can order sushi from the computer screen. That's fun and I like that much better. I can't remember all the things I got, but I ate myself full with 9 plates of food. To get a prize you need to eat 15 plates!

Only put your Green plates in the slots when done, I tried to put the little white ones down and waitress told me just to leave them on the table. The computer calculates how much you owe.

I ate about $22 worth of food before tip. That's about my average for sushi. Sushi quality I thought was meh to ok, nothing special, except that it's cheap at $2.25/plate.

Charge it if you want. Bathrooms in the back.
