I know everyone has already raved about this BYOB, but I ventured there for the first time last night, and loved it! Here's what we had, accompanied by a 2000 Sancerre:

Escargots. These came on a head of garlic and were sublime. Only complaint is that we had to ask for more bread for sauce mopping.
Haricot verts. These green beans were appropriately crisp and garlicky.

Scallops. Absolutely loved these. They came with spinach, which was good, and rice, which was kinda bland. Again, excellent sauce for mopping.
Veal tenderloin with mushrooms. This was a thick piece of meat, very juicy, cooked just right. It came with a potato cake that was also quite nice.

Pot de creme. This came in an espresso cup and the chocolate had a nice coffee flavor.
Cheese plate. We ordered three cheeses for $8. I wasn't blown away by this, but maybe that's because I've eaten at Artisinal in NYC - once you've sampled the cheese there, it's hard to go back.

Bill for each of us was about $48. On a Tuesday night, the place was lively, but not crazy full. Service was pleasant (although they were kinda skimpy on the bread)The place deserves the raves, and I would definitely go back.
