New Korean Market in Framingham!

galleygirl | Jan 30, 2006 05:46 PM

This could be even more iomportant to metrowest hounds than the new bakery! well, just as important(g)...A new Asian (mostly Korean)market has opened in Framingham center, on Rt126 (Concord Stree), about a block before it hits the rotary. Not huge, about the size of the old Oriental Market in Brookline, but decent prices on what I consider the necessities, everything I'd need to make pad Thai (Vietnamese fish sauce, tofu, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, rice noodles, sprouts, scallions, etc.) without a break the bank trip to a western grocery, for one overpriced brand. Brand of kimchi that was not the ubiquitous choice of Super88,usual price, giant sacks of rice, decent prices ($13.for 20 pounds of Kokiru(sp?) Rose, great selection of Korean dumplings...

They opened Jan 1, REAL mom and Pop, please support this important(to me!) resource!
