At a nearby Korean place here in Queens that specializes in tofu soups, there is a dish on the menu called "Seng gui bossam". It's the most expensive thing they offer ($20), and every time we ask the waitress what it is, she shakes her head vehemently and says that we shouldn't order it, that it's for Korean's only. Her English is pretty basic, so maybe she couldn't explain the dish even if she wanted to. It's tempting to order it, but for $20, I'd like to know a little more before I splurge. Anyone know what seng gui bossam is?
Also, what's "soondae"?
