For those "OC-ers" interested in some good, authentic Korean food in the area, Garden Grove, in addition to their sizeable Vietnamese community, has a thriving little Korean area in the vicinity of the Brookhurst-Garden Grove Blvd. intersection...
A couple of highlights:
Korean BBQ. Charcoal grills, as opposed to gas. Very fine stuff, rivals our own Soot Bull Jeep in LA Koreatown.
13321 Brookhurst (betw. GG Blvd and Trask)
BEVERLY TOFU HOUSE
Sundubu, or Korean Tofu hot pot. Delicious on a cold winter day.
9562 Garden Grove Blvd. #C
This was in specific response to Elmomaster's request. It's been a few years since I've been to either establishment, so I hope they are as good as I remember them. If you do get around to frequenting these places, would love to hear your thoughts!
