Having spent the winter of 1952 in Korea, one of the things I recall is having a hot soup that was prepared everywhere by local and helpful residents. It was a soup that contained what seemed to be cabbage and a turnip greens type vegatable with a broth of chicken or duck and rather pungent. We all called it "cabbage soup". A large cup would warm you and give you norishment for hours. After 53 years, I have sampled Korean resturants in various locations around the U.S and have never found it . Any idea of what is was or where it can be found? Any reply is welcome.
