Just had a wonderful Korean BBQ lunch at Kalbi House on Central Park Ave. in White Plains. A small but very authentic place, the only other patrons were Koreans. They put out a very nice array of side dishes, kimchi, radishes, spinach, small minnows in tamarind, etc, and as a bonus gave us a grilled imported fish,(ong chi? in Korean)rather like a delicate mackeral, incredibly good considering it came from half way around the world. We had bulgoki and sliced pork, both very good. Service was very pleasant and helpful and at the end of the meal we were served a cold sweet cinnamon ginger tea with two pine nuts in it. OB Korean beer is available.
We had a much better experience here than at Kang Suh much further south on the same street. There they were really rude and the food was nowhere near as good.
