korean bbq with daikon wrappers

i forget if i've ever mentioned it, but in the spirit of just putting the word out there ---

there's this korean bbq that has the traditional lettuce wrappers and rice paper wrappers like shik do rak that everyone talks about, but also has thinly sliced daikon soaked in wasabi (so it's lightly tinged green) as a wrapper. it's divine. so fresh and crisp tasting.

anyway no addresss or names again. it's at the southeast corner of james wood and vermont. they also had a very nice soju in a bottle -- couldn't figure out what it was, but it didn't have the paint thinner qualities of regular soju so i suspect it was flavored. but it was pale and wasn't flavored with those koolaid flavors and colors you normally see. if anyone has any clue what the mystery soju is i'd be forever indebted.

there's an 80s style arcade one block towards the west, a great mexican market, and on weekends, the paleta vendors line james wood.
