Kool Aid vs Freshie

When I was a child in Manitoba, we always had a small packet of dry powder that we mixed with water and sugar, and it was called Freshie. I didn't know what Kool Aid was until we moved to Alberta in my teens. I still tend to call it Freshie, and people give me strange looks. Ha ha
