Kong Kee Custards

I purchased a container of this Jellygrass Custard in Chinatown that is allegedly fat-free and low in sugar. The main ingredients though are grass jelly, rice flour and "sugar bag". Is this meant to be eaten as is? It's not that sweet and doesn't have much flavor. It also came in a plain version and an herb version. Does anyone know how these are best used?

Thanks,

Frank
