Satisfying kebabs: kubideh (ground beef), lamb and chenjeh (chicken) -- meaty, nice seasoning, could be a touch more moist, but that's a quibble.
Seer torshi (pickled garlic) had the expected heavy flavour, but should be softer, according to my Persian friend. Mast-o Mooseer, (yogurt with shallots) was very pleasant. On the whole, met with my Persian friend's approval.
They're planning to make fesenjoon as a special next weekend; I'd call to check if that's indeed happening.
