I'm thinking of buying some American-raised Kobe beef steaks. There is a sale on the Zabuton cut (see below), but it doesn't specify what that really is. I found another website that suggests it's a kalbi rib, but again, I don't really know what that is either.
It's $55 for four 5oz steaks. There is also a box of six 6oz Filet Mignons for $95, which is slightly more per steak, and I definitely know what a juicy filet is.
So to summarize:
1) what cut of meat is Zabuton?
2) Depending on the answer to #1, should I get the Zabby or go w/ the filet?
Mmm, I can't wait to try it!
