Knuckle Sandwiches on Coxwell

julesrules | Jun 10, 201609:22 AM

We've been to Knuckle Sandwiches on Coxwell south of O'Connor twice now and I really like it. So far we have tried the brisket, porchetta, fried chicken, shrimp po boy and grilled cheese. Standouts for me are the fried chicken and brisket. The fried chicken itself was excellent and the toppings delicious. My kids love the grilled cheese, at $6 it might seem a bit steep but it's large and has cheese both inside and melted and browned on top.
They also have poutines, onion rings and salads. I'm eager to work my way through the menu. They have a smallish but very good selection of local craft tallboy beers including something that was new to us, and we drink a lot of Ontario craft. My only improvement would be more interesting sodas and juices, the selection is basic Coca Cola Co.
All sandwiches are under $10, no sides, but they are generous and have several house made toppings. I feel the price is fair.
