Tried Mandlers the other day, a new sausage place right off of Union Square on 17th Street. They have about eight different varieties of sausage and the deal is you get that on a roll of your choice with 2 toppings and 2 sauces to choose from for around five bucks. The toppings include sauerkraut, chili, cheese and others. The bread was fresh-baked on the premises, not hard but just the right amount of softness. It reminded me of wurst stands I used to see in Europe. Anyways, it was delish, I would recommend it if you're looking for a quick bite around Union Square.
