I want to make some no-knead bread (actually CI Almost No-Knead bread) for Xmas and one regular loaf won't be enough. I have 5 qt (round), 5.5 qt (round) and 6 qt (oval) dutch ovens.
My question is can I increase the recipe by 150-200% and use the 6 qt or am I better off making 2 loaves in the smaller dutch ovens?
Has anyone experimented with adjusting the quantity of dough in different sized dutch ovens? A 6 qt is not that small that I think you could bump up the flour at least to 4 or 4.5 cups.
