Long story short, we've relocated to Kitsap and love the more laid-back lifestyle. However, the food scene is obviously night and day. I found a few threads about best places to dine in the Kitsap area, but they seem to be stale by 5+ years and with all the growth in the area, I'm looking for a fresh take. Any exceptionally good spots from casual to, well, as 'fine' as Kitsap gets. I've traveled in Seattle enough to know a number of options a ferry ride away, so please just the west side of the Sound. I've heard mention of a few places that are on my near-term list to visit. Molly Ward in northern Kistap; Animarum in Gig Harbor; La Fermata in Bremerton; Marche in Bainbridge; Hi Lo Cafe for breakfast.

While excellent food is the main ask here, my wife and I regularly do date nights, so I'm also keen to hear about spots with exceptional ambiance even if the food isn't the selling point. Thanks much!
