KitchenAid Pro or Artisan? Help me decide.

My old Sunbeam MixMaster is on its last legs. As a late Christmas present, my husband said he'd like to upgrade me to a KitchenAid. The problem is, I can't figure out which to choose: the Pro or the Artisan? As of now, I don't consider myself a serious baker, however I'd like to start making bread and pizza dough regularly or semi-regularly. My husband is interested in making pastries. We're only a 2 person household. I don't want to spend the extra money on a Pro if it's really not worth the investment for me. What does everyone think?

ETA: We also plan to use it to make pasta, which we eat regularly.
