I just got a 5 quart artisan kitchenaid mixer yesterday (late graduation gift). I'm very excited to try it out, so as soon as I can get out and buy some ingredients, I want to try making some bread. My ultimate goal is to make something similar to the 'hunger filler' bread made by natural ovens. I've included a link to their webpage below. The ingredients listed for this bread are: Filtered Water, Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour, Untreated High Gluten Wheat Flour, Oats, Crystalline Corn Fructose, Ground Flaxseed, Sorghum Flour, Wheat Germ, Wheat Fiber, Pea Fiber, Wheat Bran, Yeast, Barley Malt, Potato Flour, Salt, Sunflower Oil, Sesame Seeds.
I was wondering if anyone had a bread recipe at all similar to this, or a recipe for another high protein/fiber bread that (of course) tastes very good. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
