Last Kiss, Chilean Coffehouse, Edgewater

zim | Dec 31, 200211:05 AM

It's more comfy nice coffeehouse (much larger inside than the small street frontage would suggest) than chilean food spot but they have a couple of chilean things on the menu.

Had a very tasty if a little small churrasco sandwich with avacado (A pretty good deal for 3.75) and some very nice smallish fresh crunchy cheese empanadas, both can be topped with pebre, chiliean hot sauce.

There's a lot of art on display of the owners and art supplies around. I think the place aims to be a south american gathering spot for the north side with events like argentinean guitartists some nights, poetry other nights, and meeting of women's collectives on other. For those who need a spot to stop in and use a computer it also has a couple of internet computers avaialble to use.
