Heck, it gets my vote for best burger in the Triangle of the places I've tried. The patty tastes really beefy and even though it was cooked medium well it was still moist and tender. The tomato and lettuce were fresh and crispy; you can tell it's made to order. The only thing that keeps it from being perfect is the generic, bulk package buns.
The fries were great too. I usually don't like fries as thick as the ones sold at King's. The inside tends to be too dense and starchy. But these were soft and light on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. They are seasoned with like a Cajun seasoning IIRC.
The obvious question is, is it better than Only Burger (OB)? In my opinion, yes-- and I've eaten their burger from the truck and their new store. Kudos to OB for only cooking their patties to medium but they seemed smaller, the burger was less filling, and just didn't taste as beefy as King's. Add in the fact that a burger, fry, and drink combo at King's is about $2 cheaper than OB and my pick for "best burger" was easy.
But hey, try both and decide for yourself.
