If you've ever driven by King's Burgers, 9345 Reseda Blvd, in Northridge, you'd think "ah, just another little burger stand serving up char-broiled burgers in butcher paper with dressing made from tried and true Thousand Island and ketchup.
But then you'd be wrong.
Why? Because not only does this place serve burgers and fries (as well as sandwiches -- think The Hat), it also has an extensive sushi menu. Yes, sushi.
And I'm not talking about boxed, ready-to-go sushi you might find at the deli counter of Whole Foods or Ralphs.
No, this is fresh made sushi, on fancy-schmancy plates. In fact, there's even a sushi counter where you can -- get this -- order omakase style.
So having stumbled upon this place, what other odd-ball combo restaurants do we have in LA?
