Mention Taiwanese food to most people and they probably immediately think of two dishes--Stinky tofu and pork chop rice. If you hang out along Colima Road you've had your choice of dedicated eateries--Smelly Pot for stinky tofu and Kingchops for pork chops. However Irvine now shares in the pork chop bounty with their own branch of Kingchops. Kingchops features pork chop rice and chicken leg rice, either in a bento meal or as an a la carte appetizer. Also a limited selection of other items, such as minced pork rice and beef noodle soup. Kingchops uses the tagline "Since 1961 Taipei Taiwan." The Irvine branch is at 15435 Jeffrey Road, #117.
