Did anyone see last week's Kitchen Nightmares episode on PJ's Steakhouse. It seems as if the show has softened up a bit this season. I've just seen one episode, but I felt the Ramsey used less harsh language (overall) and he was more constructive in the transformation. I could be wrong, but it seemed that way to me. Maybe they are changing the tone a bit in the face of the past criticisms, poor survival rate of the restaurants, and other unfortunate events that have brought attention to the show.
They also explained that word of mouth usually brings in a lot of people when Ramsey comes to town, so the restaurants are a lot busier than normal, hinting that the restaurant's problems might be worse. In the past, I think they would purposely overbook just to make it fail really bad for the cameras.
