What kind of mango is this?

Nyleve | Feb 22, 201605:57 AM     11

The other day I was at Blue Sky Supermarket in Pickering, Ontario and came across a type of mango I've never seen before. They are much larger than the usual green/red kind, more pointed on the ends and they come from Brazil. (I've included a photo to show size relative to a sharpie pen.) i bought two of them. It wasn't until I got home and checked my receipt that I discovered that I had paid almost $10 for these two mangos, which I thought was outrageous and might not have gotten them if I realized this before paying. BUT these see the most insanely delicious mangos I've ever tasted - as good, if not better, than the much-loved Alphonso mango. Incredibly sweet and flavourful, not at all fibrous. Anyone know anything about this type? I have never seen them anywhere before.
