Kinara Spa restaurant (review)

My wife and I went to the new Kinara spa for a massage and early dinner on Saturday. (Robertson just south of Santa Monica)

After our massages, we sat in the restaurant in our robes (which was a little weird at first). The restaurant closes at 6 and it was almost empty when we went there at 6.

The decor is beautiful. Slightly asian with lots of light wood and interesting touches. It seemed very clean but comforting.

We started with a salad with arugula, roasted beets, walnuts and Humbolt Fog goat's cheese. The combination of the flavors was excellent.

I had main course of wild salmon in a broth with tomatoes, zucini and artichokes. It seemed to be healthy, but still flavorful. My wife had a gazpacho which tasted incredibly fresh and not too spicy.

The meal with one glass of wine came to about $50.

Excellent overal experience.
