I love Korean Kim Chee but am sick of buying it when
not fresh. There is no way of telling by looking at it
and the commercial kim chee industry doesnt freshness
date the jars. The main indicator that it is NOT fresh:
a sour taste that I cant stand. I have run into this problem even in Korean groceries. so 2 questions: when
it starts to taste sour, is that a sign that it isnt
fresh?? Are there any brands of kim chee that have a
better freshness track record than others?? I am tired
of playing kim chee roulette and of late, I have been
losing regularly.
