Kid friendly whilst satisfying the adult pallette in Brooklyn ~

Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

My wife and I live in Sheepshead Bay and get around fairly well. We do bring our 2 year old out with us to dinners. As long as she has a plate of noodles or rice she is content and quite the happy mini foodie.

In any regard, we usually hit the slope/williamsburg/bay ridge and wind up on smith street restaurant row. We went to Saul one night and he even made us a mini plate of fresh noodles with butter for our baby girl (charged us well for it too but nevertheless we were happy they went out of their way).

We are hoping to find some better restaurants closer to us. We enjoy many different cuisines (she is russian, I am italian). We prefer seafood/french/mediterranean. Cant seem to find a decent french place in south brooklyn. Fish is hit or miss (and always somewhat expensive). Sahara and Taci Betti is so done for us already.. Cant even locate a decent french meal.

Ideally we will be fortunate to learn of some restaurants to hit on the weekday thats local to us and wont break the bank. We both work long hours and when we get home we will usually order in the same old stuff. Trying to break up the monotony.
