Chowhound visiting from New England this summer is bringing a chowhound husband and a pretty adventuresome three year old for a week's stay in Montreal and Quebec City. Not sure where we'll stay in Montreal; probably staying at Chateau Bonne Entente outside Quebec city.
We're looking for good places for breakfasts, simple lunches, and dinners. What restaurants are good, reasonably priced (we'll be eating out every meal, so it has to be inexpensive to moderate), tolerant of children, and not tourist traps? We'd love a variety of cuisines, and do not need chains or places only serving chicken fingers and hot dogs!
Thanks in advance.
