Diiner at Kibo the other night for the first time. We ordered lots of plates to share and the only outstanding one was the Miso Cod. Others were the hot grill items including shrimp and branzino. Both were ok and instead of sauce on them, there should have just been herbs. The curry cauliflower was interesting, but a bit too soggy for my liking We had 2 rolls that were suggested and one had banana in it which to me did not work. The other was a black/white roll which was a lot better, but when asked for it to be made in brown rice, we were told that they do not do that. Desserts were ice cream in little cones and the sorbet with fruit. Service and wines were great, but I am not running back here for Asian food. Even though this is a Steve Hanson restaurant, the menu is obvious that it has too much of a French influence in it from Roubechon.
