I might find myself in Key Largo for dinnertime during my week in South Florida next week. Any tips on that burg? I fear it may be an overly touristy place, but it may just be the most convenient choice for one particular night.
Also, any tips for the Florida City/Homestead area? I'll be passing through there my first eve in S. Florida on my way to the Glades. Most interested in cheap to moderately expensive local seafood or anything else unique to the area.
And anyone know if the restaurant in the Flamingo area of the Everglades is decent or should be avoided? (Will bring stove top food as backup while camping!)
And while I've seen some recommendations on the Virtual Tourist and Road Food sites for Key West, any tips from this crowd?
Thanks for all the info that's been listed on Miami, especially from Vitalinfo--all I got to do now for my one lunch there is make up my mind from a plethora of choices!!
