Kelly's Diner in Ball Square was really good

Spotted this place on the way to El Guapo the other day, remembered I'd been meaning to try it for years. Sorry I waited: aside from fine filter coffee, perfectly poached eggs, and grilled linguica with a nice char, they served me the best breakfast potatoes I've had in a while: par-boiled potatoes like you would expect with home fries, but pressed onto the grill to produce a delicious, golden, hash-brown-like crust. Fabulous. Gigantic portions, endless coffee refills, Fifties-diner atmosphere (even though I understand it's not that old), friendly service. All of $11 with a big tip. I'll be coming back here soon.
