Kelly's "No Bad Days" Cafe (sic)

I had lunch at Kelly’s “No Bad Days” Café on Pearl Street in downtown Napa today, a mistake I won’t make again. It’s been open 5 weeks and I don’t know why it was so full. The shrimp soup was mediocre, the Caesar salad was ok (I’ll talk about the croutons later) and the quesadilla was bland and boring . We asked for everything together and the soup and salad were loooong gone before the quesadilla arrived.

The menu said claimed “World’s Best Croutons.” They most definitely were not. I think ABC learned menu bravado from Kelly.

We sat at the counter and watched as the cooks handled raw meat, chicken and fish and then cooked food without even wiping their hands. I hope I don’t get sick.
