"Keeping Chowhound Going"

That's the subject line of a post on the Midwest board. The message moved me to donate dough to Chowhound for the first time. Without this board, I wouldn't have gone to Vinci last Sunday for a good-tasting, good-value meal: I might've been served bad food somewhere else and gotten ripped off. What I contributed is a pittance of the money Chowhound has saved me from wasting on bad restaurants.
