This past week, I had a very good, very authentic, Hainan Chicken Rice at a relatively new restaurant in Vancouver named Prima Taste. They presented three sauces (tiny amounts) and I believe that one of them was kecap manis. I loved this thick, syrupy, sweet soy sauce, and would like to find it. I think that ABC brand is more common, while Bango has a smokiness to it. If anyone knows of a local source, please share.
