Anyone else read about "Bluestem" in last week's Pitch? Apparently it will be opening on Westport Rd. either later this month or definitely by Valentine's day, and is owned by Colby and Megan Garrelts (sp?). I really liked Stolen Grill where Colby was a chef, and didn't know he went from there to work at Tru in Chicago.
This may be a really great addition to the Westport/Plaza area, I'm looking forward to the opening. Innovative cuisine and a low-key atmosphere (like the now defunct Metropolis) scores high in my book. Hoping for the best.
Anyone else have more info?
