Went to Kaya this weekend for kalbi because we seem to remember that Kaya has better meat (we usually go to koreana and are happy enough).
but the Kaya Kalbi was noticeably better. i think it's the meat quality or the cut of the meat that makes the difference. they also use charcoal grill, though not sure if that contributes to the difference. they also have an addicting dipping sauce that's a combination of salty and sour.
we didnt get to try other dishes because we needed to order at least two grill items so that we can grill on the table. boy, were we stuffed at the end.
i did notice a lot more koreans at Kaya than at Koreana.
