In the GROUND FORCE: NEW YORK special on BBC AMERICA, which started airing on Monday and will air on that channel, I'm sure, for all Eternity, a few of the British guys on it went to Katz's Deli on the lower East Side for a lunch break. Tommy, the head GROUND FORCE worker, looks to the camera and says something like "I hear this is the real salted beef", and then tries the pastrami. He goes into orgasm mode and then gets a sandwich. The camera cuts to the WHEN HARRY MET SALLY module which says WE HOPE YOU HAVE WHAT SHE HAD or something like that. Tommy then raves about the place to the others when he gets back from his lunch break. Very cute and a great advertisement for Katz's. I gather that this particular GROUND FORCE episode airs in the UK on Tuesday. I expect Katz's will receive more than its fair share of Brit tourist patrons from now on.
