As long as you're mentioning Katz's, I have to say that their brisket is at least as good as their pastrami. I've been popping in there at least once a trip for a pastrami sandwich, and the last time, while I was getting some pastrami to ship to Hawaii, they cut a few slices of brisket for me. Now, I'm conflicted. Pastrami or brisket? And should I starve myself and get a knish, too? My mom loved their french fries, which are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. And maybe an Egg Cream, to boot.
