Over the years I have always read so many bad things about this restaurant that I never even tried it. I finally gave it a whirl for lunch Saturday. Started with the Split Pea soup. Rich, lots of ham flavor and little pieces of ham in the soup too. Had the Rotisserie Chicken that was as tender and juicy as can be with a crispy flavorful skin. Had a side of Mashed Potato, Onion Rings, and Asparagus. 2 of us shared everything and had food left over. Everything was just excellent but it did not come cheap. Fifty dollars for lunch with only Iced Tea and Coffee as beverages. Valet parking adds another $3.50. I am glad that I did it, food and service could not have been better but am in no rush to have another 50 dollar lunch.
