I went bc Nosher so highly recommended the place (I usually trust Nosher); however, not so good. First, it is really not worth going out of the way to 11th and C for this place. I live in Stuy Town and still think the 5 or so blocks was not worth the trek.

They have a great Sake list, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Granted, it is cheap, but the food doesn't taste that good. We had a special tofu and hot sauce app that was decent. Next, was the fried scallion and ginger chicken. Kind of tasty, but the chicken looked as though it was from parts unrecognizable to me. The highlight of the meal (if there had to be one) was the chicken skewers, they were very good. And last was the shrimp donburi. This was really pretty bad. The shrimps were very small, and although they referred to them as rock shrimp, I would tend to doubt that. Overall, the place is very cute and homey, but the food is pretty bad.
