I went to Kasa Moto for lunch. They were opened in the upstairs patio only. Very nice setting.
Hamachi Ponzu($18), Robata: wagyu beef($15) and Pork belly($13), chicken two ways($22), soft shell crab roll($16), Goma-AE($8)and Tuna Tataki($20).
The portions were bigger than I expected.
The winners were the Hamachi Ponzu (yuzu ponzu and shiso oil) and the Tuna Tataki (daikon and black sesame aioli).
Both the wagyu beef and the pork belly lacked seasonings and were quite bland. Wagyu beef was very tender but not so for the pork belly.
I did not order the sashimi platter ($60)after the server told me there were 5 kinds of fish (chef`s choice) and 3 pcs. each.
I noticed the table next to me ordered the miso black cod and it was two large pieces.
